I've considered filing the notches in the rigid plastic rim to a 45 degree
angle to get it to fold more neatly.  Anyone try this?  It didn't look
like it would affect the functionality in any way...

Also, I picked up a copy of Teen Compact Customized Thumper Car magazine
(I don't remember the title, I think it is "Custom Compact" or something
like that) because it has an article on Miata customizations (springs, HKS,
etc).  It features a couple of pages on the installation of the Downing
supercharger.  Worth at least a free glance at the newstand.
