Fellow fiends: Many thanks to Ken Buck for his comments/advice concerning my disturbed ramblings regarding hard top rattles. By the way, how does he do that Bill the Cat thing? So, if I may, on to my next question: how do I get in touch with my "local" Miata Club chapter (Detroit area)? I confess that I was a member of the national club for only one year and frankly grew tired of paying only for the newsletter which contained reletively useless advice and a lot of adds. Maybe that has changed, but at the time, it clearly didn't enhance my enjoyment of the car (then again, what could? NEVERMIND!) Anyway, does someone have a telephone number (or is someone out there in net.land able to talk to me directly? Is there a Detroit club member out there reading this? Please contact me with suggestions/information. I would be curious to hear people's opinions of the club. I suppose many of you folks out there in net.land are members? Is the club worth it to you? Again, I inquire because as of a year and a half ago, it didn't seem worth that much to me. Especially with all the net.wisdom available at my keyboard. What will I get out of re-upping? Will I have to join the national club to participate in regional club activities and get on mailing lists? Does membership make a difference to you in terms of your enjoyment of the car?
