I could go on a bit about driving the Miata in the snow (having had mine in WI for two winters), but now that I'm back east in the DC area I'm hoping to avoid snow for a while. The only snow I want to see is in pictures and on the ski slopes. Of course, we are getting a taste of WI temperatures right now (so call me when the wind chill hits -70F)! OK, so -20F wind chill feels pretty much the same. Does that mean I should be wearing gloves outside? I did have the top down before the cold front came through - had to wear a hat to keep the ears warm. When I was driving I found the leading edge of the cold front and a bit of snow with it! My first and (hopefully) last time of driving with the top down in the snow! By all means, take the Miata out to the parking lots and play in the it makes for lots of fun and learning to handle the car. :-) -alex-
