Mine fogs up in rain even with the "recirculate" off and vent on.  Actually, I 
never use recirculate much.  I use the A/C on defrost to defog (like the 
manual says to), but some folks don't have A/C.  The power draw is enormous.  
Anybody out there NOT have A/C?  How well does the defroster (for defogging 
purposes) work in rain?  I would rip out my A/C (I bet it all weigh 100 lbs.) 
if it weren't for the fact that I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to see out the 
windshield in a rainstorm without it.  Hardly ever use it for cooling.  That's 
what a convertible top is for. ;^)  (Cracking the window open doesn't help 
much, either.)
