Andy, Don't know what you want the wheels for but I bought them at first because of the price. After using them for autocrossing I would tell anyone to go with the alloys. Some people I know use the steel for everyday use and the alloys for racing but I like the looks of the alloys for everyday. I will say that the person I got the steel wheels from had them looking real good. He painted them black, put crome beauty rims with the crome center hub cap and crome lug nuts and I was really surprised how good they looked. Other than that they would make good rims for snow tires. I picked up the 93 alloys from a dealer that had taken them off a new car to put BBS wheels on. Since the new car section owned the wheels they could sell them for what ever they wanted and I got them for $300. Still alot of money but far better than retail. I have a member in my chapter that has a set of 90 alloys forsale for $400. He is located in Richmond Va. if you are interested. George E. Ferrell, Founder Central Virginia Miata Club, Inc.
