In regards to these foggy questions and replies: << The A/C de-frogs :) the windows very quickly, sure, but when I turn the A/C off it seems like all the vapor it removed from the air is immediately released and all the windows fog back up immediately worse than before. And with the vapor comes that stale smell.... So my choices are, (1) suffer with fogged windows, (2) use the A/C to clear the windows and then have them fog back up with a bad smell, or (3) use the A/C to clear the windows and don't turn it off till I get where I'm going. replied as: What do y'all do? ==================== What you have to do is adjust the airflow direction away from defrost to the dash vents or floor immediately so that the outside air (prior to being "conditioned" or dehumidified) is not immediately blown onto your just cleared window. I agreee, you can also shut the outside air vents to keep the humidified air inside, or limit its intake so keeping the dry air longer in the passenger compartment.
