I assume you have the system set to the ouside air position, rather than
recirculate?  --We found out after buying ours, that the recirculate setting
didn't cut it at all in defrost/def(r)og mode.  Seems that recirculating the
already warmer interior air would be better, but it's also more humid.
After rereading the manual (when in doubt, see instructions), we went to the
exterior air setting and it works great.  (Forgive me if you've already
tried this - I know it seems evident to those who know the car.)
