Will Zehring, I have a set of stock steel wheels but if you want them for autocrossing I wouldn't use them. The steel wheels weigh more and they flex more than the alloy. I used then at first but picked up a set of 93 alloys, hope to get a set of 94 alloys as soon as they get them in as they are even lighter. As for the tires getting hard I had that problem on my Yokohama A008rs that I autocross with. This was mostly due to my leaving them on my trailer in the weather. I picked up some treatment called Formula V from Racer Wholesaler which soften them right up. I use a little before each race and they stick like glue. Never used them on my street tires, which are four and a half years old now. I have seen no problem with them.
