Bad idea to skip Belgium.
We're rather famous for our beer (> 300 brands), chips and chocolates.

Miatas are a pretty sparse here in Belgium.  So are car-clubs in general.
Yet there's a miata club in Belgium (all I can tell you about it is the address
and that it currently has about 80 members)
  VZW Belgian MX5-Club
  to Mr. Karel Mortelmans    (the guy that probably runs the club)
  Dageraadstraat 13, bus 5   (street, house number, mailbox number)

(replace the '+' by the code to get out of the states (probably '00'))

I found the address in the magazine article on the MX5 owners' poll.
I promised to mail a translation to the list, but haven't found the time yet.

None that I know of.  But they must exists, since cars like Ferraris, Porsches and
- yes - miatas are said to be rented in the summer by would-be's to drive
along the boardwalks of posh seaside places like Knokke-Zoute.
The yellow pages say nothing about car clubs.

Be carefull with a miata when you head towards Italy.  Italy is notorious for its
reckless (= wreck-more ?) drivers and car vandalism.
