The cats don't >after all, present any real hazard to the Miata, beyond esthetic, and then only >in the view of some... I looked at the stuff I got to repel the cats and its called: "REPEL. Dog and Cat Repellent". It's supposed to affect the mucous membrane which are sensitive on cats and dogs. It's really meant to keep dogs and cats from urinating in specific areas, but if it keeps them away from my car, so much the better. Just sprinkle this stuff somewhere in the garage, and the cats avoid that area (especially in an enclosed area). I keep my top down in the garage, and one time the cat decided to walk from the hood to the trunk. Well, it must have slipped along the door and put a claw hole in the vinyl at the top of the door. That cat was reallllly lucky I didn't find him right then. I'd have probably drop kicked him into kitty heaven. I have enough problems with people driving by braile. ---------------------- Robert Holland (JTBob) Southwest Fisheries Science Center Internet: robert@caliban.ucsd.edu "But remember your way in is also my way out, and love's four-letter word is no compensation." : Jethro Tull
