My wife got me a cat cure after I threatened to make the 6 o'clock news. Called Tattle Tale (tm), it is a small battery powered device in plastic box that has a motion sensor. I set it in the trunk or on the windshield resting against the hood. When our cat hops on the car it emits a high pitched but not obnoxious squeel. The cat hops immediately off the car. The only scratches resulted when i forgot to put it on the car. It has two sensitivity settings. I would not recommend this unless the car is in a car port or garage. Another problem is that the cat now ignores the car when in the garage. If I leave it in the driveway, it is fair game. Who says cats aren't smart. If I leave the car outside at home I have to pop the hood so the cat won't try to warm itself. The catch to this story is that I don't remember where this thing came from! At one time I thought I saw it in Miata Magazine, also in Herrington's or Brookstone cataloges? You might try MM Marketing at 1-800-666-4282. BTW I got my Indy II confirmation last week! Can't wait. We ought to organize an informal meeting just to get to know the face that goes to the 1's and 0's. Eric (Indy II #104) Fancher Tejas Miatas Austin, Texas
