It seems that since I got my Miata (Red '94 b pkg w/ hard top) that I use it mostly when it's dark (Work, work, work!) And it's so dark in the cabin, that map light does next to nothing but those after market rear view mirrors look like they'll do the trick! Mazda should just make them standard! Does anyone have one? Are they good? Which one is the best? From what I see there are 2 companies... Mighty Products Lighted Mirror for $79.95 (Wires into car's 12 volt system; lights on/off with doors open/closed. Driver and passenger side toggle switches operate 2 sides separately. Easy installation with instructions and special apoplication tools provided. MOUNTS DIRECTLY TO EXISTING BRACKET. Pre-wired, no splicing - just "plug in". And.... MM Marketing (Miata Accessories) Lighted Mirror $59.95 Brand new for 1994. Unbelievable price. Will not shake loose like the others. You will be amazed how easy it is to install OUR lighted mirror. The wires are hidden. The light is fully automatic or manual. This high quality product will add to your nighttime enjoyment. So does anyone know how these 2 product stack up? Does one really "shake loose?" does the other NOT "mount directly to existing bracket"? I hate buying things via catalog unseen! Obviouly it they are comprable I'll go w/ the cheaper one, but maybe the other one is worth $20.00? Anyone know? Sean Farquharson, MD
