Anne M. had a sleet day today, and was able to call all those 9 to 5 places we can never normally reach. A call went to Miata Magazine, RE: Where's my mag? Well, it seems that they had a breakdown at the printer's. Hence, the magazines are coming out in dribbles, a few at a time. They are keeping score, and everyone will get their mag. - eventually. At least, so they say. (BTW: Many thanks, Alex P., for the loan of the winter '93 issue. I tried not to drool over the turbo ads and etc. too much. I note the Dunlop certificate inside the front cover for $20 rebate on sets of tires - that alone is worth the price of admission, since I've purchased eight Dunlops in the past several months, including four for Kansei. My certificate will be used in short order, when we get our own copy of that issue.) RE: Roll bars: Many thanks to all who have provided info on this subject. Finally reached Hard Dog today, who is sending info. However, I'm still clear as mud on what is legal and fits under the top and all that. Looks like the only way to go is pick what you want, and show up at the track. If they let you run, it's OK. I mean, here we are with these specific rules, and there's still discussion on what they mean. I get enough legalese at work. Fortunately, I'm short (5'6"), so just maybe I can fit under a low roll bar with hard hat on, and still have a top that will clear it. One can always scrunch down in the seat during tech. -Jack "why don't you want to tailgate me, John? - is it something I ate?" M.-
