Definitely improve top-down sound. 1) The speakers just get shoved into the holes, no bolting. I did cut out a little foam on the inside part of the headrest so the sides didn't bulge out. 2) The harness comes complete. The DIN plug goes into a little slot on the back, driver side of the radio. There are two ways to put it in: Hard way with out taking anything apart, Easy way with removing a bunch of stuff. I chose the hard way. The hard way you have to lie on your side with you head resting on the gas pedal and use a long neck screwdriver to guide the DIN plug into its slot. I couldn't see the hole and use my hand to push the plug in. It took me about 10-15 minutes of trying before I finally got it in. The other way, you have to remove the facia surrounding the radio. Start by removing the center console (two screws in the arm rest, one or two under ash tray plus shift knob). You then pop out the two eyeball vents, use a coat hanger or some rope and just tug until they pop out with a sickening crunch. There are two screws, one in each of the holes. Then there are a couple of screws uncovered by the removal of the center console. Then just tug on the facia until the plastic catches release. You should now be able to remove the radio and plug in the DIN plug. Put the facia back on and refasten the screws, and pop the eyeball vents back in. Run the wire down the center of the car. Two connectors go the passenger side, and two to the driver side. The other cable just goes from the drivers side to the passenger side, connecting the circuit. I can't remember what color wire goes where, but the instructions are fairly clear on that respect. Give me a holler if none of this is clear. Good luck. ---------------------- Robert Holland (JTBob) Southwest Fisheries Science Center Internet: robert@caliban.ucsd.edu "But remember your way in is also my way out, and love's four-letter word is no compensation." : Jethro Tull
