Subject: Hardtop Hoist Recall (not something new, folks)

I'm sure this issue was hashed and rehashed a year ago when Mazda sent out 
their recall of hard top hoists with defective plastic buckles.  However, I 
joined the list only a few days ago and missed it.  

Questions:  I purchased my hard top hoist from a third-party but the plastic 
buckles are the same as the ones on the OEM hoists.  Have any of the 
third-party sellers offered to replace them?  If not, is there a good 
source for replacement buckles?  I would rather not have to buy a new 
hoist and have thought of taking the old one to a tent shop to have them
sew new ones on.
