Out of interest, what other cars are on a par with the miatas
on the track , what do you beat and what beats you ?

I know on the road that most GTis will beat me down a straight
but won't live with me around bends (not that I'm a boy-racer 
you understand !).

    The first generation MR2 is a pretty close to the Miata on the autocross 
    course - my former office-mate has one, and we're pretty evenly matched.  
    The newer MR2s, esp the turbos are quite a bit faster.  The roof doesn't 
    go down, however.
