FWIW, i'm paying about $1050 this year, living in a relatively calm place in MA near the NH state line; this is at least $200/year cheaper than when i lived 5 miles away in Lowell (Lowell is NOT a good place to be if you're worried about car theft!). i also have some fairly high ($500) deductibles on the assumption that i can afford to self-insure myself a bit. this all includes a discount of about $350 because they think i'm a good driver (i.e., no recent speeding tickets - if i got a speeding ticket, they'd instantly consider me a careless bum for the next 7 years and probably charge me double, but i sense that blood pressure meter going up fast, so i better change the subject... *whew!*) -- Ken Buck /| Internet: k.buck@ma30.bull.com \'o.O' ACK!
