IMHO if the tie downs/tow hooks are not to be used AT ALL, the dealers should remove them as part of the pre-delivery inspection, making it unnecessary to even mention them in the owner's manual. I'd be interested in hearing about the number and location of tow hooks on Euro-spec Miatas, and what the manual says about them. Hey Piet in Ghent, are you listening?
