I'd never seen many ads for Miatas either, until recently.  Check out the
back cover (I think it was) of the March 28 issue of AutoWeek (I think it
was).  They're pushing the limited edition blue/green color (which name I
can't recall right now).  Seems to me the April issue of Road & Track also
had a Miata ad.
