Just got back from a trip to Germany and I stopped by a toy store in Munich and cleaned them out of Herpa Miatas. I ended up with 8 of them, 1 Mariner blue, 3 red, 2 silver and 2 M-editions (sorry, there were no white cars). I did see a couple of red cars elsewhere but this was the only shop that had this many and the only Marinier blue one (and I wanted to use my Visa since I was short on marks). I'm keeping the Marinier blue car and I've already promised one of the red ones to Bill Allen. I know some other people also asked me to pick one up (like Alex) so I'll process their requests first. If I have any left at that point I'll offer them up to the net as a whole. My cost was 7.50dm which comes out to about $4.70 each but I figure I'll cost a couple of dollars for postage and some good little shipping boxes. The model is very nice and well detailed (it even has a set of rear-view mirrors that have to be snapped on). They are of the German MX-5 so there is a wide licence plate area and no third brake light and the Marinier blue car has a tan interior for some reason. Andy, how much is the shop in Vancouver charging? --- ___ __ ___ Alan Dahl | alan.dahl@mccaw.com /_ / / / Analysts International Co. | (NeXTMail OK) -or- / / _/_ /___ 10655 N.E. 4th St. Suite 804 | adahl@eskimo.com Bellevue, WA 98004 | PH: (206) 803-4496 | FAX: (206) 803-4901
