agreed, but this is true of many things in Life.
basically, with stuff you care about, you eventually learn
who and how much you can trust.  usually spouses tend to
care enough about the other person to respect "their stuff",
although admittedly, everyone has their blind spots... :-(
when you're not sure and don't want to run risks, DON'T.
