It looks like my friendly government network administrator is letting me get the daily digests sent over the weekends, only! In a month I'll have a Power PC and a warp-speed modem at home. Then I'll have internet access all the time! So take that Darth! Tom Manson is having trouble with a moving ramp. I had that problem. What's happening is the tires are scooting the ramp away. Connect a peice of rubber, fabric, or light chain to the top surface of the ramp. The tire rolls onto the piece, which restrains the ramp while continuing to roll up the ramp. At least it did for me! Also, Tom is curious about the various tube-like passages and enclosures on the intake ducting for the Miata. These are tunning ports and chambers for taking out harmonic air pulsations at certain air velocities. I believe they eliminate some noise and/or improve air flow over the range of air flows the Miata uses. I betcha Sandy Meek could explain better! Christopher Rowe asks for suggestions on rejuvenating a lightly scratched Miata rear window. We forget that long-standing solutions and care for the Miata are not known by more recent converts to the cult of the miata! Meguiars makes wonderful optical-plastic cleaners and polishes. I don't remember the three different treatments, something like 10,11,and 17; but one is a cleaner, one is a polish, and one is a protectant. They work miracles! And you can use them on plastic lenses and even scratched CD's! Your week-end correspondant (temporarily), Bill Allen
