just a trivia note re: Meguiars Plastic Polish/Cleaner:

i happened to be in a local discount Marine store
(that's 'boats', not 'military') and noticed that
Meguiars makes a bunch of boat-related stuff too.

they also had the familiar Plastic Polish (#10?) and
Plastic Cleaner (#17) that we all know and love
(good price, too: $4.95 or so), and a third bottle
called #18 "Plastic Cleaner/Polish" that came with
a spray nozzle on the top.  at the time, i didn't
analyze the usage instructions in detail, but
it wasn't clear what the difference was between
#18 and either of the other two (i.e., a 50/50 mix?).
ok, next time, i'll read EVERY WORD and report back...


while we're on the subject, does anyone know a good mail order
source for Meguiars products?  everyone in the Miata Magazine
advertises the plastic polishes, but nobody seems to list
that they carry the whole line (waxes, swirl remover, etc.).
