Hello, rich/old/nut friends

Guess I'm the only one on the list who hasn't submitted his personal
history yet.  Here it goes ...

My list is not as long as some that I've seen.  Either you guys are all
very rich, very old or real car nuts.

1975 Peugeot 304 break (1.3) -  Piece of junk.  Inherited it from my dad who
                                needed a cheap stationwagon when he was
                                building a house and had to tranport loads of
                                building materials.  Never started at wet
                                weather.  Once in 4th gear, shifing down was
                                impossible unless you came to a standstill first.
                                Once hurt my wrist trying to trow it back in 3rd
                                with extreme violence.  Left it (for free - but glad to
                                be rid of it) at the garage when I bought a
1983 VW Golf GTI (1.8)       -  Second handed but practically new car that had been
                                trough a small accident but was declared totalled by
                                the insurance company.  The owner claimed a new car
                                since he had an all risks insurance on it.  Could buy
                                it for little money.  Had three break-ins and one
                                theft of the car itself.  Found it back after
                                a crash in a joy ride.  (Basterds !)
                                Pretty nice car after all.  Sold it.
1988 VW GOLF Diesel (1.6)     - Wife's car.  I call it our 'little bus'.  You have to
                                stand in the doorways to wash the roof.  My wife likes
                                it.  That's her problem.
1993 Mazda MX-5 red (1.6)     - My day-in day-out car.
                                Each comment would be an understatement.
1992 Mercedes 600 SEC         - Not really my car, but a friend's who's often abroad
                                and asked me to take care of it when he's away.  I'm
                                afraid to take it out on road since my feet keep messing
                                up with the auto tran.  Would never buy it - even if I
                                had the money.  I'd rather get 6 miatas in stead
                                (well, 4 perhaps and one RX-7)
