One thing we seem to forget....the people that sell the Miata are salespeople - 
they have no scruples (or there are very few who do). They will sell a car to
anyone at anytime for any reason, as long as they make $$ in the deal. They'll
even sell a car to someone who won't take care of it!
	Of course we should take the optimistic view - the new owner was so
consumed by the magnificence of the Miata that he was oblivious to the world
outside the cockpit. He'll wave next time you pass by!
