Well you guys missed a good one. Alex, Jack, Anne, Connie and I had a wonderful ride this afternoon northwest of DC. Alex found some great roads, and even had Connie squirming a bit as we took some good corners. [I know that if she hadn't seen Alex in front of us, she would have been telling me to "slow down" and "this looks like a sharp turn" even more than she already did.] Anyway, we had a great picnic lunch on Sugarloaf Mt and were careful to organize ourselves in the right sequence of colors (red, white and blue). It even incited a group of Girl Scouts to start singing "Grand Old Flag" at our approach (I still don't believe it!). The weather turned out to be beautiful even after a brief afternoon shower. Shortly after we were done it turned cooler, so we must have had someone watching out for us weather-wise. Thanks again Alex for the good planning, and to you Anne for that great [Taco?] Dip (Connie wants to know the ratios of cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning in the base).
