[No, > none of them have had heart attacks.] I continue to be amazed at how much better people respond to a loud horn than a quiet one. The first time I realized this was in a parking garage, where I was trying to get out. A woman sees me coming out and stops (blocking me) planning to back up and take my space. A guy in a pick up stops inches behind her and won't budge. Gridlock for about 5 or 10 seconds. I get tired of this and lean on my recently installed Automation horn. *Immediately* the lady flips the pick up driver off and moves. Well worth $30 or $40. Ronnie '92 Sunburst Yellow PS. Car dealership here advertising a BRG for $23K+. There is a business to be made buying used BRG's in places where they sell for what they're worth (ie., a 3 yr old used car with 30K - 50K on the clock) driving them to the Bay Area and selling them at a $10K profit. Are people here *that* stupid? For $10K you can have a white Miata painted BRG. Hell, you could probably have the damn thing disassembled, dipped into BRG paint, and then put back together.
