Hmmm. Here in the San Jose area, Miatas are quite ubiquitous. If you wave at every Miata you see, your hands never touch the steering wheel! ObHeatsheilds: I'd like to thank you guys for talking about how your exahust heatshields have come loose. My Miata got a sympathetic reaction, and now its heat shield is loose. I get a real icky rattle at 37-4000 rpm. How are these things held on? Did I lose a nut or bolt or something? Sould I get under there and fix it myself or take it in under warranty (I'm at 34000 mi)?
