This issue raged on the Mustang mailing list for a while, and comes up I'm sure on the newlists. I'd be willing to bet it's a FAQ, but since it hasn't appeared here since I've been on this list, let me add my $.02. Over on the Mustang list, we had some real car nut/engineers, like those interested in viscosity, oil shear temperatures, oil aeration, metallurgy, etc., fully researched, down-in-the-dirt, looked-it-up-and-asked-questions- took-names-and-notes kind of guys with whom I would trust my car with a complete teardown/rebuild. There was nothing good to say about any of these kinds of magic products. If anything, there was some evidence to the contrary. Without getting into the topic full-blown (I'm not equipped, but I can get more serious info), I'd recommend this stuff for your ex-spouse's car, but not your own. Doug Q. dquara@encore.com
