>Coould someone out there provide me wih the torque specs for the >Valve cover bolts and timing cover bolts please? TIA. >-alex- Alex, Here are the settings from the Miata shop manual: Tensioner lock bolt - 27-38 FT LB Cylinder head cover - 43-78 IN LB Spark plugs - 11-17 FT LB Timing belt cover plates - 69-95 IN LB Belt deflection between camshaft pulleys - 9-11.5 MM at 22 LB Reading BAMA Backroads last night, I note they quoted an item off Miataville by Gary Fischman, who is also on the Net. Gary was estatic with his sucessful changing of the belt. However, it appears he did not replace the front oil seal at the same time. I stopped looking at Miataville some time ago. Anyone know if it has gotten more informative of late? Bill Allen - Seattle
