Reds tend to fade faster than any other color, and the paint on the bumpers of Miatas seems to discolor a bit with age in general. For example, my white '91 has different colors of white on the bumper and the rest of the car. >The most >recent issue of MCA had an article on washing but I didn't see particular >mention of the bumpers. You should treat your bumpers just like any other painted surface. You wash them with car soap, you use the same polishes on them that you would on the rest of the body, and you use the same wax. Do *not* use a plastic polish on them; you'll probably damage the paint. The question of what color your bumpers will be in a couple of years is one I can't answer, though. :) -- Ken *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Ken Warren E-Mail: kenw@netaxs.com *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Finger me for the current Philadelphia Region SCCA Solo II schedule...
