Appreciate the tire width/wheel width input from Doug Q. In another reply to
Ken B., I commented that I was once told by some SCCA racers and import auto
repair shop owners that the 205/60-14s on our early Datsun Z car were too
wide for the 6 inch wheels on the car.  I've never heard anyone else say
anything about that combination or equivalent being too wide, so I dunno.
Anyway, maybe for our next Miata tires I'll try some 195/55s on the 5.5 inch
Miata wheels.  (It will be a while, since I only have about 5,000 on the
present Dunlop D-60s.)  BTW:  Where did the "70%" rule come from?
