Miateers,
Just this afternoon someone wrote a summary of burned exhaust valves.
I inadvertently deleted the message before noting the sender.  In response,
I am concerned.  His questions are good ones and any fault of the dealership
should be identified.  My question to the poster is how he operated his vehicle.
What were your shift points generally?  Are you a hard driver?  Did the
dealership do all of your oil changes or did you do them yourself?
[forget that last one, I guess that is not so relevant]  Did the dealership
do the 30,000 mile check? (maybe that one isn't so relevant either, I don't
know what is called for int eh 30k check)   How about any gasoline.. Have you
used a name brand?  Any gasohol?  Do you have a turbocharger?  There may
be other relevant questions that I can't think of at the moment, but I 
think that this issue bares discussion.
