/By front inner fenders, do they mean the wheel well liners?  Has anyone done
/this?  Has anyone found debris behind their rocker panels (as I have)?

They actually mean the front fender.  There are bolt heads along the groove
where the hood comes over the fender and i was told also inside the wheel 
well (you have to remove the tire to access them).  I've never done this or
know anyone who has.
