Fellow fiends:

Though Michigan is not exactly known as a place with excessive solar 
radiation ("What is that dull light up there in the clouds?"), I am 
wondering about soaps and polishes for the bumpers on old red '91.  I may 
just be snow blind but I think that the colors on the body and the colors on 
the bumpers are starting to not be the same colors (so to speak).  The most 
recent issue of MCA had an article on washing but I didn't see particular 
mention of the bumpers.  Any comments/recommendations?  Should I use the 
same Meguiar's (sp?) stuff that I use on the rear window (which works 
great)?  It is my impression that wax one uses for painted surfaces 
generally is not appropriate for plastic bumpers.  Yes/No?  Please, I don't 
want pink bumpers!
