Rafael, the whirring sound from your back end MIGHT be a brake shield
rubbing.  If you crawl underneath the car (try parking the back end
up on a curb and chocking the front wheels), you should be able to see
if the shield is too close to the wheel, axle, whatever) and pull it
away.
