I think that the Splitfire Plugs and wires are highly overrated and probably do nothing for a performance improvement. I have compared both Splitfire plugs and NGK plugs in my Miata and found no improvement in performance with the Splitfires although they are about 3-times more expensive. You can get a refund from Splitfire within 30 days if you don't like them so it wouldn't hurt to try them to satisfy your curiosity. One important point. The sealing washer on the Splitfire plugs is not fixed to the plug so when you remove the plug there is a 50:50 change that the washer will remain in the recessed area of the engine. Its a pain to remove. If you don't realize that the washer is left behind and you reinstall another plug it may not seal correctly so be careful. This is a knowm problem with the design of Splitfire plugs. Also, the top of the Splitfire plug is somewhat larger than the NGK plugs so the wire connecter is difficult to get off the Splitfires. Be very careful how you remove the cable or you may break the wire. Herb Samuels
