     A quick tech question:

     The Mazda Club recommends advancing timing 14 degrees BTDC for better
full-bore performance.
     Does this really help?
     I mean really, as opposed to theoretically?
     And would it make a difference that I've slapped an HKS PowerFlow
intake, headers & a free-flow exhaust on my '92?
     Since I'm mechanically challenged, this is something I'd have to
(shudder) PAY to have done, and I don't want to "experiment" with my bank
account, such as it is.
