Talking about protecting the rear window: >Seth, can you even SEE out your back window anymore? Or do you live in >SoCal and keep your top down all the time? > >Most people know that if you don't unzip and protect your rear window >every time you put the top down, pretty soon the window will have so >many fold lines and scratches in it that it's very difficult to see thru. I've had my red '90 now for over 4 years and I have never put a towel or anything else down to protect the plastic and it still looks great. Of course, I don't raise and lower the top a lot - probably only a couple of times a week at most usually. I have used cleaners on the plastic to get scratches out. I keep the whole car covered when I'm not driving it and I think that's made the biggest difference in keeping the plast window in good shape (along with the rest of the car). Now, if I could just cover the car WHILE I'm driving it - no, wait, that wouldn't be any fun. :-) -- tigger@zeus.muse.rockwell.com --- Of course I don't speak for my company. If I did that they'd have to pay me a lot more money.
