As a pilot, this makes me very nervous!  I'm assuming that this is
an uncontrolled airport (no ATC tower).  While generally accepted
aircraft practice is to call on the radio before landing and
then circle the airport, there is no LAW that says they have to!
It is possible for a non-radio equipped airplane to fly straight in
to the runway and try to land (not considered good practice, but it
is done).  This could get interesting!

I'm curious what arrangments you made with the airport to allow
for this type of event to take place on an active runway?
