I really have to try and MAKE it skip by pounding over RR tracks, BIG potholes etc. I have a couple of CD's that skip easier than others. Suzanne Vega's 99.9F is one that has a heavy coat of while color covering the disk. It is SOLID on one half of the disk. This disk skips much easier than the normal silver disks.. FWIW Greg Bassett
