Covercraft manufactures custom-fit Sunbrella car covers for the Miata. All kinds of places sell Covercraft car covers. I bought mine locally from North Coast Tarpaulin Works. By the way, I was mistaken when I said that Sunbrella was poly-cotton. >From the little info sheet that came with the cover: "Your new Sunbrella cover is the finest, most durable cover on the market. Woven from polymer acrylic fibers which will withstand almost unlimited assault from the elements, Sunbrella covers suffer minimal loss of strength from exposure to heat, moisture and the blistering sun. Sunbrella will not rot or mildew even in the most humid climates. "Your new cover is intended to shield your vehicle from dirt, dust, tree leaves and sap, bird droppings, industrial pollutants, salt air and the baking, searing effect of the sun. It will minimize deterioration of the paint and upholstery and protect your valuable investment. It is not intended to keep your vehicle dry in a rain storm, because it is not waterproof, but it has been treated with a durable water repellency and mildew resistance treatment which will repel light precipitation. It is made from a "breathable" fabric and since it is not air tight, it cannot possibly trap moisture and cause damage to the paint. We do not recommend waterproof coverrs because of their potential for trapping moisture with resulant paint damage." There is a five year warranty for Covercraft Sunbrella car covers. It covers repair of any defective workmanship (including stitching), and if the fabric loses strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, rot and/or atmosperic chemicals, they will replace the cover at no charge. The cover is also machine washable and driable. It's a good car cover, the best I've had so far, but I would like a smaller cover due to the Miata's small trunk size. (The MR2 had a front trunk where I could keep the car cover!) There was a black and white photo of a Eunos Fitted Car Cover in the last MCA Product Registry, sold by Typhoon for $109. In the photo, it looked too shiny for poly/cotton or Evolution/Technalon - perhaps it was Tyvek? The phone number was 1-800-TYPHOON. Cindy Paloma
