Jack McCombs (and others) were curious about the two volume book set that has
one book of (mostly) photos and one book of text (actually tells of the dev of
the Miata, including concept sketches, etc).  The book set was available from
Mazda and may still be lurking in warehouses across the country (typically
Mazda stores printed matter in the Jacksonville distribution center). Go to
your local Mazda parts counter and order 9999-91-MATA-BK to try to get the set.
The cost is about $25-30. Be warned, it may take a while, the books may not be
in excellent condition, or you may not be able to get them at all. The next o
option is to call all the dealers in your area looking for the set.
