I started using Mobil 1 10W/30 after about 40k miles of dino oil.  The
lifter noise decreased dramatically, although it tends to come back a
little after about 3k miles.  FWIW.

Alex, sorry I missed you here in LA.  I couldn't make it to the MRA
tour as planned.
