Subject: Time:9:14 PM OFFICE MEMO touchup query Date:7/4/94 I have just touched up a couple of deep nicks on the hood of my black '93C. I noticed that the Mazda touchup paint after drying was a muddier black than the surrounding paint. Any thoughts as to how to get an exact match? Also, I thought I was being careful with the wet and dry sanding using little discs glued to pencil erasers. Wrong. The tiny pads ate into th surrounding paint noticeably. I used 1000, 1500, 2000 and Meg's. #9 in sequence. Should I try to fill in the 3mm D. spots or leave the area alone. BTW, I also posted an inquiry concerning a nose mask - it is for the '93 black which seems to have very fragile paint. thanks, jim jamieson
