Reading all the positive responses on air horns, I decided to order a set. I was also convinced that all were the same, so I ordered the Walos. Now I'm not so sure they are the same. Last night I hooked up the compressor and tested it. When I pressed the horn my dash lights and headlights dimmed. Not a lot, but it doesn't seem right to me. I looked at the directions (When all else fails ...). They are very non-specific to the Miata. They call for a 30 amp in line fuse, whereas the Miata has a 15 amp fuse on the horn circuit. I don't know if this is the problem or not. Has anyone with the Automation horns (and there are a lot of you out there) experienced this? What amperage fuse do the Automations call for? Any suggestions how I might fix this problem? (Sending them back is an option.) Other comments: I noticed that some of the Automation owners complained of flimsy brackets and poor instructions for the Miata. The Walo horns came with neither. Furthermore, the compressor did not "easily" mount to the location of the original horn. I had to fabricate an aluminum mounting bracket. One last thing (not as important). The Walo horns are bright red plastic trumpets. They look a little goofy to me. Are the Automation horns the same?
