I've been thinking about making a large white lace bra for my Red '92. It would have two large cups which would fit on the pop-up headlights, and straps running up the sides of the windshield and around to the back, with a large bra-hook right behind the license plate. Problem is I can't find a source for watermelon-sized rubber breasts to fit on the headlights. Also, would this be street-legal? And on the aesthetic side, would you reccomend a sport design, or the padded underwire style? ;^) Seriously folks, I have been putting off spending the $40 on a front- end grill for a while, and yesterday I made my own for free. I had some leftover black plastic screen stuff made for keeping leaves out of gutters, and I realized that it was just the right width to squeeze into that wonderful hole in the front of my car. I trimmed a piece to shape, cut slots for the tie-downs to poke through, and slapped it in place, gently curving the top and bottom edges in to give it a convex contour. I then cut two more small pieces, rolled them into tight cylinders, and thrust them through the tie-downs to hold the larger piece in place. Looks great, and is easily removed & replaced. If I can find some sort of white paint that will stick to the stuff, I'm going to make several of them with various illustrations to suit my various moods - maybe a fish symbol to wear when I'm visiting my born- again friends, and shark teeth for just about everwhere else. I spent last week on Assateague Island off the coast of Maryland. Saw tons of Miatas in Ocean City, quite a few on the highway between Pittsburgh and the coast, but NONE on Assateague itself. Maybe too much potential for lip-print damage from the wild ponies. Camping on the beach was nice, but it sure feels good to get the hell out of the V***ger and back into Little-Red-Face. Cheers, Walter, "If I wanted to drive like you, I'd use my 8-N." Greenwood
