Regarding nicks and dents - forget the touchup paint!  It dries dull and
even a wax job won't make it blend in.  Go to a paint store and have a
pint of lacquer in your car color made up.  The color code is on the
driver's side door panel and also give the year.  I did this with my red
baby; I took it and the lacquer to a body/fender guy and it looks
great!  The lacquer doesn't look dull at all.  A pint cost about $16.00
in the San Francisco Bay Area.
