Well, the rain stopped long enough for me to get intimate with my car...

I've been having repeated problems with my driver window 'jamming', and
I've grown tired of taking it to the dealer so they can 'lubricate' it.
After reading in one of the archives about the manual crank cable coming
loose I decided this was my problem and preceeded to take the door apart
and explore.

The door actually dismantles very simply, and I made sure to catch the
clip that holds the window crank on :) - upon inspection, sure enough, the
stupid cable was snagging the stop on the bottom of the window glass. 

I (hopefully) corrected this design flaw by borrowing a cable tie and 
pinning back the offending cable...we'll see if it lasts...

Thanks to this list for the initial advice that convinced me it was a
simple problem...who needs a warranty when I've got you folks ;)
