I also had problems fitting the Liestritz (Millen) muffler. It, too, did not ride centered in the exhaust cut-out in the rear bumper. I fixed it by having a muffler shop put a torch to the exhaust pipe near the diff and bend it to place the tip in the center of the opening. Other than that and a tendency to leak at the muffler's connection to the exhaust pipe, I really like the unit. It sounds great and the big glossy-black-enamel, oval tip looks cool! The leak is due to the slits in the muffler's pipe. They accomodate sliding over the upstream pipe. Unfortunately, one of the slits is at 6 o'clock and doesn't close tight enough under the clamp. This allows some exhaust condensation to dribble out at that point. I did a shade-tree fix by puttying up the hole with epoxy. It stopped the leak, but I suspect I'll become familiar with the intersection again in the future! Bill Allen
